new blog for what? who really knows

I'm in the process of figuring out how all of this works-- as I am sure is very much clear. Mad annoyed I didn't know deleting a blog makes the URL permanently unusable again... rip capernias we love you </3

Anyways, I thought this might be a good thing for me to create. With my future 9 months abroad, and hopeful travels in between, there is a lot in my life that is going to be different from what I am used to. I know I am bringing a journal too, but sometimes it is simply easier to type than it is to write-- though I hope to actually use the journal(just likely more in a casual way, whereas this will be a more thoughtful thing-- maybe LOL). Regardless, this is just a place for me to put more thorough experiences and thoughts of this new life for me(wow that sounds dramatic). 

From near the end of September 2023 until mid December of the same year, I will be living(and studying) in London. SOAS! Not a single letter in common with my current of UWM, however, there does not seem to be many similarities in general. I still have to learn the differences between British and American universities, but considering how soon it begins, I feel as though I may simply learn as I go. That's smart, right? (oh yeah definitely) Exactly what I mean when I say "who knows," though. 

Oh yeah, and in early January I will be going back until mid June(with a month break?? okay ig). Basically 9 months living in vaguely known country nearly alone. While my uncle lives there, he will only be there half time and even then, I am not entirely close with him-- plus, it's kinda nice in my head to have to be fully independent hahaha.

I still don't even have all my tuition figured out (my financial aid office sent me a nonsensical email about it processing). I did start packing today though-- and realizing how many clothes I have that while I really enjoy, I should just give up with because I am not going to wear it. With that though, I made myself pack nicer clothes-- even though there were still many t-shirts. My nicer, newer, cleaner t-shirts made the cut while my old ones may slowly end up in my donate pile before I leave(not my Perry the Platypus shirt though.. he got to stay). I also made a solid-ish list of what other stuff to pack too, though I cannot actually genuinely start packing until maybe tomorrow(I got vaccum seal bags! how fancy ikkk!!). Hopefully everything comes together soon, because I'm honestly running out of time T.T

Other than packing and tuition there are obviously other things I have been thinking about with my future trip. Will I make friends? Will my suitemates be cool? Will I enjoy my classes? Will I have enough money to truly enjoy my time? Will I get the full experience? So many wills but what about the ways. Who knows.
